  • What are the benefits of sound meditation?

    Meditation is one of the best disciplines you can implement for yourself. With regular practice, meditation reduces stress, relieves anxiety, lowers heart rate, lowers blood pressure, improves sleep, boosts immunity, decreases inflammation, and so much more. One of meditation's most significant and best benefits is what it does for your mind. Meditation teaches you to be in the presence of your thoughts without passing judgment and to listen beyond the restrictions of your mind to the eternal wisdom of your heart. I call this Transcendent Listening.

  • Can sound meditation help with anxiety?

    Relaxation helps mitigate stress, and meditation helps clear the mind of repetitive thoughts. Many people who experience anxiety also experience chronic rapid shallow breathing. Meditation can help with anxiety by training the body to relax and release tension, quieting the mind, and improving dysregulated breathing. However, it is essential to understand that meditation does not replace psychological or medical interventions.

Alison uses her knowledge of music and psychophysiology, the science of mind-body medicine, to create relaxing soundscapes for revitalizing and healing meditations. She teaches relaxation strategies for stress management and has helped hundreds of people like you.
